Software Engineer

Join a dynamic team as a Project Manager responsible for overseeing software coding, troubleshooting, and project management activities. Your skills will be pivotal in ensuring successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Address customer needs related to software coding and troubleshooting. Document software development processes and configurations. Compile documentation of identified issues and solutions for knowledge management. Assume the role of Project Manager as assigned by the leadership team. Prepare and maintain an effective Project Charter, obtaining necessary approvals. Collaborate with Project Sponsor/Owner to finalize project objectives, scope, deliverables, and approvals. Plan and maintain project organization, including stakeholders and role assignments. Develop comprehensive project plans covering timelines, resource allocation, financials, and quality standards. Identify project risks, assumptions, constraints, and formulate mitigation strategies. Oversee on-site commissioning of products and services. Supervise customers during production launches. Conduct training sessions for customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering. A minimum of 2 years of experience in PLC programming and project management. Strong verbal, reading, and writing communication skills. Solid understanding of control system configuration and third-party equipment integration. Experience with startup and maintenance of process control projects. Proficient in Twincat PLC 2.x and/or Twincat 3. Excellent programming skills in structured text as per IEC 61131 and PLCopen standards. Ability to work independently and possess project experience in mechanical engineering. Familiarity with software design, especially in component and interface design. Knowledge of safety practices and procedures certified fit for SCBA. Desirable skills: Experience in sales support, understanding of Beckhoff hardware, Profibus, and servo drives, as well as programming experience in regulated industries. Knowledge of CE and semi-standards, MES, SCADA systems, object-oriented programming, pair programming, and Git.
