Software Engineer (Mobile App Dev)

In this role, you will be responsible for both application development and day-to-day operational support, ensuring the stability, performance, and usability of our internal systems that support semiconductor manufacturing and smart factory operations. Youll be supporting our internal Warehouse Management System.

Key Responsibility

. Maintain, monitor, and support internal IT applications to ensure stable, secure, and reliable operations.

. Provide L1/L2 user support: troubleshoot application/system issues, identify root causes, and implement timely fixes or workarounds.

. Analyze, collect, and prioritize user and business requirements for system enhancements or new features.

. Design, develop, test, and deploy application changes (e.g., bug fixes, enhancements, minor modules) following internal standards and best practices.

. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (IT infrastructure, production, engineering, planning, etc.) to ensure solutions are aligned with operational needs.

. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, interface specifications, configuration guides, maintenance procedures, and user manuals.

. Participate in change management activities: impact assessment, risk identification, rollback planning, and release coordination.

. Support system performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning to ensure applications meet SLAs.

. Contribute to incident and problem management by documenting issues, lessons learned, and preventive measures.

. Continuously identify opportunities to optimize workflows and automate manual processes within the factory environment..

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related fields
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in application system development and/or support.
• Solid experience with Java development familiarity with common frameworks is a plus.
• Familiar with Android development tools and environment (for internal mobile or handheld applications).
• Programming skills in Java, JavaScript, PL/SQL, Android
• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, or similar), including writing queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Proven ability to diagnose complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective fixes.
• Experience translating business or operational requirements into clear and structured technical specifications or user stories.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), version control, and basic testing practices (unit/integration testing)..
• Android (Warehouse / WMS Applications)
• Practical experience in Android application development, preferably for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or warehouse / logistics operations.
• Hands-on experience developing Android apps for use cases such as:
• Inventory inquiry and stock transfer
• Goods receiving and shipping
• Barcode / QR code scanning
• Put-away, picking, and cycle counting
• Proficiency with Android Studio and the Android development toolchain.
