IT Programmer
Work Day: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
Responsibility
- Responsible for in-house system development, testing and rollout to support business operation and fulfil customer requirements to the system.
- Participate system design in accordance to shopfloor and business process.
- Continuous improvement on system performance, quality and responsiveness, particularly manufacturing systems (shopfloor control / execution, warehouse, supply chain, etc.).
- Follow guidance, direction and coding standards while keep improve coding quality, and provide guidance to junior members to strengthen the DevOps team together.
- Collaborate with solutioning and SA team to develop new functions based on functional spec and conduct unit testing, perform issue troubleshooting and bug fixes.
- Evaluate feasibility of project requirements and give reasonable estimates, and timely update IT project team for ETA
- Maintain IT manifest repository, source code check-in and review SDLC in place, etc.
- Perform necessary system analysis and suggest workable solution from time to time.
- Back up for various system support, pull data pertaining to production needs
- Requirement
- Diploma or higher (Degree preferrable) in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
- 1 year or more experience with system development and programming with skillset in Java and database scripting, preferably MES system and PL/SQL scripting
- 1 year or more experience in design or develop mid to large manufacturing applications or participated MES setup / migration project as essential member role
- Good analytics and troubleshooting skills
- Enthusiastic in software development
- Willingness to work under pressure
