Job Responsibilities:
- Define and enforce development best practices including documentation, unit testing, CI/CD, and security.
- Work closely on the integration with messaging platforms (Solace, IBM MQ), databases (Oracle via JDBC), and front-end delivery (web and mobile via WebSocket).
- SDLC development processes and promote excellence in engineering, ensuring code quality, secure coding standard and timely delivery.
- Resolve application code performance and vulnerability issues.
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of software development / Business Analyst experience with Java EE (IBM WebSphere), Node.js, and AngularJS.
- Experience with Scrum/Agile, SDLC methodologies, effort estimation, and leading distributed development teams.
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, messaging platforms (Solace PubSub +, IBM MQ), Oracle DB, SQL, JDBC, REST APIs, WebSocket, SSO, Web cache.
- Familiarity with mobile web delivery using Flutter/Dart and server-driven UI rendering.
- Good communication skills and proven track record of on-time delivery.
Good to Have:
- Red Hat OpenShift and/or Kubernetes certification.
- Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Understanding of container security and compliance practices.
- Knowledge of security testing practices and remediations.
