About the Role

We are looking for a dependable and thoughtful Software Engineer who:

• Has a demonstrated ability to build reliable software
• Collaborates effectively across functions
• Is a self-starter who can own features from design through to post-deployment
• Is open to learning new frameworks and technologies
• Cares about clean, maintainable code

Key Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience designing and developing reliable software, including:

• Designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Writing unit and integration tests
• Implementing authentication, authorisation, and security best practices
• Working with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Working with CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency with Node.js backend frameworks (e.g. Express, NestJS, Fastify, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

Advantageous but not required:

• Experience with IoT system development, cloud integration, and security
• Familiarity with OCPI and OCPP protocols
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
