Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, engineer, and automate the lifecycle of OpenShift clusters, treating infrastructure as software.
• Develop robust automation for cluster provisioning, upgrades, and scaling using Ansible, Terraform, or Python.
• Implement and maintain OpenShift components such as OVN-Kubernetes networking and OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) storage.
• Engineer reliability and performance optimizations to ensure high availability of the container platform.
• Implement GitOps workflows for cluster configuration management.

Requirements:

• Experience: Intermediate: 5+ years
  Experience working in Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) will be preferred
• Strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes internals.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash or Python.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Knowledge of storage (Ceph/ODF) and networking (SDN, OVN) in a containerized environment.
• Familiarity with GitOps principles and tools.
