Software Engineer, Cyber Sensor Development

Duties and Responsibilities

• Build and maintain advanced endpoint sensors on diverse operating systems including Windows and Linux to collect low-level telemetry for cyber security
• Develop anti-tampering mechanisms for endpoint sensors
• Propose innovative solutions to address cyber security use cases
• Develop sensor architecture across endpoints and network devices for correlation of telemetry
• Configure and manage sensor environments, including operating systems, applications and network topology
• Participate in code and architecture reviews for developmental efforts
• Write complete technical documentation

Requirements

• 3 years experience as a Software Engineer
• Hands-on experience in low-level systems programming
• Hands-on experience in binary analysis and reverse engineering
• Hands-on experience in C, C++ or Rust
• Hands-on experience in frontend web development frameworks such as React or Next.js
• Demonstrated capacity to learn independently with minimal guidance on new technologies
