We're looking for a driven Software Engineer to join an emerging AI & Digital Centre of Excellence and play a foundational role in building scalable digital and AI-powered systems. This is an exciting opportunity to help transition early-stage GenAI prototypes into robust, production-ready platforms while shaping the future of healthcare technology.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain backend systems using Python, APIs, and cloud-based applications
- Design and develop user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks
- Collaborate with product, data, and R&D teams to define system requirements
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and monitoring tools
- Manage cloud infrastructure and contribute to architecture decisions
- Support AI-enabled systems and internal digital platforms
- Maintain clear technical documentation and system diagrams
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong fundamentals in system design, APIs, and data structures
- Proficiency in Python and backend frameworks (e.g., FastAPI)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or OCI)
- Familiarity with Docker, Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
- Understanding of security and handling sensitive data
- Ability to work independently and deliver production-ready solutions
