Data Analyst
The candidate does the development and delivery of state-of-the-art digital solutions to bank's internal staff and external clients in a hands-on manner.
Main responsibilities:
- Work with business users to understand their use cases and requirements
- Analyse Data and designing Solution for use-cases
- Develop dashboards and applications using python, SQL and data visualization tools.
- Quality Assurance (review of design, code, tests, documentation, security, etc.)
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in Data Analytics.
- Experience in coding with python (specially pandas).
- Experience in databases and SQL. Knowledge of analytical SQL functions (for example, Window functions is a plus).
- Experience with data visualisation tools (for example, Tableau, Power BI).
- Ability to think in abstraction layers and solve complexity by breaking down into smaller chunks
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, able to collaborate/facilitate with various parties within the team and with other teams on various levels
- Advantageous skills (not strictly required):
- Understanding of system design, infrastructure and security
- Understanding of agile development methodologies, code review process
- Experience in CI/CD and other DevOps practices
- Experience in private banking or financial sector
Data Engineer
Responsibilities
- Building data pipelines to transform and manage end user consumption of curated data sets
- Responsible for supporting data analytics, data applications and dashboarding with respect to the data availability / stability.
- Understanding the data and identifying any potential data issues as well as correcting issues arising from data.
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery and cleansing/transformation.
Requirements
General Knowledge & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience in data related functions
- Understanding of banking / financial services with exposure to data analytics preferred
Programming & Data
- Strong hands-on skills in SQL with knowledge of the different flavors of it (T-SQL, Trino and hive)
- Solid background in software engineering for applications employing the use of python as a programming language
- Understanding of data modelling with a preference for exposure to banking data models
- Knowledge of data analytics and dashboarding functionality with a preference for exposure to Power BI.
