To help us build upon our success, we are seeking a Software Development Manager to provide leadership and direction to our engineering team. This role is crucial for driving the development of our search system, ensuring its performance, scalability, and the successful delivery of new features

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a solid technical background, and a passion for building and managing high-performing engineering teams. You will play a pivotal role in the engineering leadership team in Rezolve APAC, shaping the future of our technology and products

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of the next generation of systems to support the scalability of Rezolve's Multi Search product
• Collaborate with product managers, technical leaders, and other stakeholders to define the roadmap and strategy for the search platform
• Drive the development of new search pipelines and features to improve system performance across indexing, query understanding, candidate generation, and re-ranking

Key Success Factors

• Improve Feature Delivery Speed: Identify and address bottlenecks in the development process to accelerate the delivery of new features
• Increase System Scalability and Performance: Guide the team in making architectural and design decisions that enhance the scalability and performance of the search system
• Deliver on New Features: Ensure the timely and successful delivery of new features that improve the search system's ability to drive conversion improvements for our customers

Key Skills - Expertise & Knowledge

• Proven experience in leading and managing software engineering teams
• Understanding of distributed systems, search technologies and MLOps patterns
• Experience with microservice architectures and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Excellent project management and communication skills
• A strong technical background with experience in software development, both front-end and backend

Desired Skills - Expertise & Knowledge

• Knowledge of other cloud platforms such as GCP and Azure
• Experience in the e-commerce or retail technology sector
