Software Development Intern for Generative AI Applications

Job Description

We are looking for a curious and motivatedSoftware Development Internto support the development ofour Generative AI applications. This role is ideal for someone who is alreadyproficient in Pythonand eager to strengthen their skills while working hands-on withlarge language models (LLMs). Youll contribute directly to a product that ispushing the frontiers of what is possible with agentic intelligence.

This opportunity is particularly suited for those at polytechnic, or in the early stages of their university course, who want meaningful work experience insoftware development and AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Python Development:Write and refine code to extend and stabilise product features.
• LLM Workflows:Prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and fine-tuning tasks to improve agent behaviour.
• Integration:Connect the product with databases and external APIs to strengthen its functionality and scalability.
• Operationalisation:Enhance the development environment with robust logging, automated testing, and reliable deployment practices.

Who You Are

• Alreadyproficient in Pythonand eager to advance your skills.
• Curious aboutLLMs, agentic frameworks, and building AI-driven applications.
• Detail-oriented and disciplined in following good coding practices.
• Interested in building systems that are reliable, extensible, and production-ready.

Nice-to-Have Skills (but not required)

• Familiarity withLLM and agentic frameworks.
• Experience withdatabases, logging frameworks, or API integrations.
• Exposure toautomated testingorCI/CD practices.

Internship Details

• Start Date:Rolling (applications reviewed on an ongoing basis)
• Duration:Minimum 3 months
• Commitment:At least 50% of your time (part-time or hybrid arrangements possible)
• Location:Singapore / Hybrid (remote flexibility available)
• Eligibility:Polytechnic, or early-stage university students with strong Python skills
• Other Notes:At this stage, we are unable to sponsor employment passes
