Role: Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and execute SIT, UAT and Production deployments for Customer Mgmt and Credit Origination applications across countries

1. Perform infrastructure setup, configuration, and validation for testing and production environments.
2. Provide support for maintenance activities including upgrades, patch management, and capacity enhancements for Customer Mgmt and Credit Origination applications across countries.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during SIT and UAT testing phases.
4. Maintain and enhance the testing environment by developing and managing automated monitoring scripts and tools.
5. Support and troubleshoot SIT/UAT deployments leveraging DevOps pipelines and Aldon tools.
6. Collaborate with application development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless deployment processes.
7. Document deployment processes, troubleshooting steps, and environment configurations for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
8. Ensure adherence to deployment schedules and minimize downtime during production rollouts.
9. Identify areas for process improvement and automation within the deployment and testing lifecycle.
10. Provide on-call support during critical deployment windows and address post-deployment validation issues

12. Ensure compliancewith security standards, policies and audit requirements during all deploymentand environment setup activities.

Key Requirements:

1. Stronghands-on experience in Unix/Linux system administration, including installationand configuration of WebLogic and JBoss with with SSL encryption.

2. Provenexperience in installation, configuration and troubleshooting ofAIX/Linux-based WebLogic, JBoss and related middleware platforms.

3. Solidunderstanding of automation and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment(CI/CD) pipelines, with hands on experience in tools such as Jenkins, Aldon,Ansible, and container management technologies

4. Proficientin scripting with UNIX Shell Scripting and Groovy for automation andoperational support.

5. Experiencewith environment management, infrastructure provisioning, and deploymentprocesses.

6. Experiencein Release Management, including planning, coordination and execution ofrelease activities.

7. Demonstratedleadership and collaboration skills, with experience in leading or mentoringtechnical terms.

8. Workingexperience with middleware technologies such as IBM MQ, Connect:Direct,FTP/SFTP familiarity with Oracle Databases operations is a plus.

9. Goodunderstanding of networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting.

10. Priorworking experience in banking or financial services environments is highlypreferred.
