Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver working software applications that meet customer needs.
- Improve software quality by following Extreme Programming (XP) practices, including code reviews and unit testing.
- Follow the Software Craftsmanship Manifesto, emphasizing clean, maintainable, and high-quality code.
- Prepare architectural and technical documentation to support development and decision-making.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts (BA) to refine and elaborate user stories.
- Work with Quality Assurance (QA) teams to assist in test automation and bug fixes.
- Support DevOps teams in automating build and release pipelines
- Any other adhoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in software development, with a focus on agile and XP practices
- Proficient in software development using modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python), version control (e.g., Git), unit testing, code reviews, architectural design, and CI/CD tools for build and release automation
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and attention to code quality and maintainability
- Agile/Scrum Certification, DevOps-related certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps, AWS DevOps Engineer) preferred
