About the Company

Our client is a well-established organization with a strong presence in the transport and infrastructure sector.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer (Java) to design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise applications.

• Develop C++ applications for embedded systems (Linux/Windows)
• Integrate hardware interfaces (e.g. serial, network, Bluetooth)
• Build backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Develop REST APIs and manage databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• Troubleshoot system issues and support deployments
• Work with cross-functional teams in Agile setup.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• At least 3-5 years of experience in embedded or backend development
• Proficient in C++, Java, REST APIs, and relational databases
• Familiar with Agile methods and tools like JIRA
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Clear communication and team player mindset
• Able to work independently and handle challenges.

Employment Details

• This role is located in East Singapore
• Hybrid work arrangement
• Occasional travel within Singapore required.
