Software Developer Java/Big Data in Investment Banking (permanent position)

Main Responsibilities

• Lead technical studies, design solutions, document and develop.
• Ensure CI/CD integration in all deliverables.
• Perform code reviews and coach best practices.
• Report to project managers, monitor risks.
• Research, design, develop, test, validate, and update software.
• Work on integration of hardware/software systems.
• Autonomy in non-functional deliverables: testing tools, mocks, monitoring, performance/load testing.

Main Requirements

• 8+ years in software development.
• 5+ years in Java/J2EE.
• Hands-on Big Data stack:
  Spark (incl. Spark Streaming).
  Messaging systems: Kafka, Flume, ActiveMQ, MQSeries, or RabbitMQ.
  Hadoop ecosystem: HDFS, HBase, Hive, ORC/Parquet (Hortonworks preferred).
• Tooling: Maven/sbt/ant, UML, REST, Jenkins/TeamCity, Git/SVN, JUnit (TDD), Jira/QC.
