Front-End Development
- Design, develop, and test scalable frontend solutions for web and mobile applications aligned with business and user requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, UX/UI, backend, data science and ML teams to deliver integrated, end-to-end digital experiences, including AI-assisted features.
- Lead frontend architecture ensuring performance, accessibility, security, maintainability, and responsible presentation of AI outputs
- Integrate APIs serving ML models and real-time inference services.
- Support deployment, release, monitoring, and optimisation of frontend components.
- Provide clear documentation and knowledge transfer, while continuously adopting modern frontend technologies and best practices.
Back-End Development
- Design, develop, and test robust, scalable backend solutions aligned with business, system, and data requirements.
- Develop and maintain secure APIs supporting AI/ML inference, model orchestration, scoring logic, and risk-flag workflows
- Implement data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, anonymisation, and storage to support analytics and model training (where applicable)
- Collaborate with data scientists to operationalise models, including feature engineering pipelines and model integration into production systems
- Ensure backend architecture supports performance, reliability, security, auditability, and traceability of AI outputs.
- Support deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimisation of backend and ML-enabled services.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture, data flows, and model integration artefacts
DevOps, MLOps & Security Operations
- Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and ML model deployment.
- Implement and manage MLOps workflows, including model versioning, experiment tracking, containerisation, environment reproducibility, and rollback strategies.
- Enable automated testing and validation of models prior to production release (e.g., performance thresholds, bias checks, regression benchmarks).
- Monitor system health, model performance, drift indicators, and inference latency.
- Support secure environment configuration, secrets management, and release coordination.
- Conduct routine security operations including vulnerability management, patching, log monitoring, and support for security assessments and audits.
- Maintain infrastructure, access control, and documentation aligned with governance and compliance requirements.
Quality Assurance, Testing & Release Readiness
- Develop and execute test cases to validate functionality, compatibility, performance, security, and reliability across supported platforms.
- Conduct validation of AI-enabled components, including output consistency, edge-case handling, and human-in-the-loop safeguards.
- Identify, log, and track defects, regression issues, and model performance degradation through to resolution.
- Coordinate testing cycles across engineering, product, and data teams.
- Provide formal sign-off on release readiness, including confirmation that quality, security, and model validation criteria have been met.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in software development (frontend, backend, or full-stack)
Proficiency in building scalable web and/or mobile applications
Experience developing secure APIs, data pipelines, and integrated systems
Familiarity with integrating AI/ML services, model inference, or data-driven features
Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and deployment workflows
Understanding of system performance, reliability, and security best practices
Experience with testing, debugging, and release processes
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, UX, data science, operations)
Strong documentation and problem-solving skills
Experience in healthcare or regulated environments is an advantage
