Our client is a leading European MNC in designing and developing high-tech systems (assembly equipment, machine control systems, medical equipment etc). The Singapore team houses the Development Center and we are looking for the following position of:
Software Designer
Responsibilities:
- As the Software Designer in the team, you will be working closely with customers on requirements gathering. That would include analyzing their requirements, clarifying their requirements and documenting their requirements via UML.
- As the technical lead in the project, you will also be leading the architectural design and development of software systems, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and reliability requirements
- This involves Analyzing, designing, implementing, and test the control software.
- Conducting peer reviews to ensure product quality.
- Leading development team and ensuring team performance.
- Working as an integral part of a scrum team and handling user stories across the fullstack.
- Developing functionality using Agile practices, emphasizing speed and quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 10 years experience in software development handling software architecture in new product development projects.
- Minimum5 years of experience in C++ in object-oriented programming, and UML tools
- Minimum5 years in object-oriented analysis and design with common design patterns
- Minimum5 years in active design refactoring with CleanCode/Solid principle , and design refactoring with common design patterns
- Excellent communication skills and ability to (technical) lead a team of 8-12 software developers in projects.
