Eucharist-Tech Pte Ltd develops its software products/platform predominantly in Java, and owns the IP. Our Products deliver a unique platform to build complex, distributed and decentralised business applications without a single line of code being written i.e. no-code application development. The platform enables people who have business process knowledge but are not programmers to be able to create a business application.

Software Architect - Java (5+ Years Experience)
We are looking for an experienced Technical Leader with strong Java background to lead the design and development of highly scalable business applications. This role is ideal for a hands-on software engineer who enjoys programming, architecting, mentoring engineers, and building robust systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the continued development and maintenance of the platform
- Identify critical areas for improvement and to collaborate with management to appropriately position the software platform in the market
- Take on complex programming and design
- Drive technical decisions, generate new ideas and establish best practices
- Mentor engineers and lead code reviews
- Ensure high code quality, scalability, and performance
- Support in-house and external customers in both development and production environment
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Java development those with less than 5 years will be considered if they can provide evidence of skill sets and expertise to match the job requirement
- Strong experience in programming especially in Java, software architecture and system design
- Experience with designing microservices, APIs, distributed systems
- Experience with UI frameworks/libraries(e.g. Swing, SWT)
- Proficiency in application frameworks such as Spring / JakartaEE
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong leadership with Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience mentoring or leading engineering teams
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of DevOps practices
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure)
- Experience with Netbeans Platform / Eclipse Platform
- Experience with MQ protocols
- Experience with XML databases
