Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the acquisition and development of software systems, including ERP systems, in organisational units.
- Responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, support, and continuous improvement.
- Responsible as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that the Solutions align with financial and operational goals.
- Lead requirement gathering, system design, testing (Unit, SIT, UAT), and deployment activities.
- Monitor the results and quality of the different software solutions and projects implemented in the organisation.
- Oversee the development of the Solutions and provide technical expertise on the development of software and platform features, ensuring that appropriate security and risk factors are considered.
- Manage incidents and service requests, ensuring resolution within SLA targets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams within the organisation to resolve complex issues.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of user manuals, training materials, and system documentation.
- Oversee the conduct of training sessions for end-users and support teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology /Programming & Systems Analysis.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience, with at least 3 years as Software and Applications Manager/Lead.
- Proven working experience with ERP integrated applications.
- Experience in AMS (Application Management Services) environments.
