Social Work Associate (Community Connection)

The Social Work Associate (SWA), Community Connection supports the planning, coordination and delivery of community engagement, social integration and signature events for Club Rainbow (Singapore)s beneficiaries and their families. The role works closely with internal teams, volunteers, corporate and institutional partners to create meaningful opportunities for participation, connection and inclusion.

The SWA will also support volunteer engagement and operational coordination to ensure that programmes and events are delivered effectively, safely and in alignment with organisational objectives.

Job Description

Events & Programme Management

• Plan, coordinate and execute the organisation's annual signature events, community engagement activities and social integration programmes in accordance with organisational objectives and standards.
• Develop event and programme workplans, timelines and operational requirements to ensure effective implementation.
• Coordinate logistics, venues, vendors, procurement, budgets, manpower and other resources required for programmes and events.
• Support beneficiary and family participation to promotemeaningful engagement, inclusion and positive experiences.
• Coordinate on-site operations and respond appropriately to operational issues arising during events and programmes.

Partnership & Community Engagement

• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with corporate partners, institutions, community partners, volunteers and voluntary groups.
• Coordinate with external partners on programme collaborations, volunteering opportunities and community engagement initiatives.
• Support the development of partnerships that enhance opportunities and resources available to beneficiaries and their families.
• Volunteer Management & Engagement
• Support the development and implementation of volunteer management and engagement strategies across the volunteer lifecycle, includingrecruitment, onboarding, deployment, training, engagement, development,recognition and retention.
• Coordinate volunteers for programmes and events and ensure that volunteers are appropriately briefed, deployed and supported.
• Facilitate meaningful engagement between volunteers, beneficiaries and their families.
• Support cross-departmental volunteer requirements and coordinate volunteer resources according to organisational needs.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

• Gather feedback and relevant programme data to evaluate the effectiveness of events, programmes and volunteer engagement initiatives.
• Support the identification and implementation of improvements to strengthen beneficiary participation, family engagement, volunteer experience and programme outreach.
• Maintain accurate and timely programme, event and volunteer records in the organisation's database and relevant systems.
• Prepare post-event reports, statistics, documentation and other reports as required.

Team & Organisational Support

• Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to support organisational programmes, events and initiatives.
• Participate in relevant meetings, training, supervision and developmental opportunities.
• Ensure that activities are carried out in accordance with organisational policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements.
• Undertake other projects and duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Head of Department from time to time.

Requirements

• Diploma in Events Management, Community Development, Psychology, Social Sciences, Community Services or other related disciplines.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Preferably 1-3 years of relevant experience in programme management, events management, volunteer engagement, community development or related areas.
• Experience working with children, youths, families, volunteers or community-based programmes would be advantageous.
