You will assist the medical social workers in casework to help patients cope with their financial and care issues. You are expectedto work in close collaboration with other healthcare professionals to support the patients and their families psychosocial well-being.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Psychology Studies / Psychology & Community Services or its equivalent, with at least 3 years experience in a healthcare or social service setting
- Certificate in Basic Counselling would have an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Documented proof of:
- Measles (or Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity and
- Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination taken during preceding 10 years at prevailing point of reference as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act. Applicants without these vaccinations are welcome to apply if they undertake to complete the vaccination(s) before work commencement
