Social Media Specialist / Content Creator

Lu Xia Healing Sanctuary is seeking a creative, adaptable, and observant Social Media Specialist to join our team in Singapore.

This role works closely with the Founder, Teacher Lu Xia, to observe, capture, and translate meaningful moments, teachings, and activities into engaging social media content.

The content created will not only focus on meditation and energy practices, but also explore themes related to lifestyle, personal growth, and subconscious mind development.

The ideal candidate should be creative, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment, where authentic content moments often arise spontaneously.

Key Responsibilities

Founder Content Documentation

Follow selected sessions and activities involving Teacher Lu Xia (Founder) to observe and capture meaningful content moments.

Record short-form videos and photos during teachings, interactions, and daily activities.

Identify key insights, ideas, and stories that can be transformed into engaging digital content.

Content Creation & Storytelling

Develop short-form content suitable for platforms such as:

• TikTok
• Instagram Reels
• YouTube Shorts

Translate key teachings and experiences into simple, relatable content for online audiences.

Create content around topics such as:

• lifestyle awareness
• emotional balance
• subconscious mind development
• personal growth and self-awareness

Video Editing & Production

Edit short-form videos using tools such as:

• CapCut
• Canva
• or similar editing platforms

Ensure content remains visually engaging and aligned with current social media trends.

Social Media Trend Awareness

Monitor and stay updated on current trends across social media platforms.

Identify creative opportunities to translate trends into content aligned with the brand's message.

Creative Collaboration

Work closely with the internal team to develop content ideas related to:

workshops and events

lifestyle insights

teachings and discussions

products and services offered by the sanctuary

Event Coverage

Participate in selected workshops, events, and activities, including occasional weekend sessions, to capture content.

Requirements

Strong interest in social media content creation and storytelling

Ability to work in a dynamic and flexible environment

Basic skills in short-form video editing (CapCut / Canva / similar tools)

Understanding of social media platforms and content trends

Language Requirements

Good command of English

Ability to communicate well in Chinese (Mandarin)

This is important as some content and interactions involve Chinese-speaking audiences and team members.
