About the Role:

As a Global Social Media Marketing Intern, you will support the day-to-day management of our social media presence across multiple platforms. You'll work closely with the marketing, creative, and content teams to help ideate, create, and manage engaging content that drives brand awareness and community engagement. This role offers hands-on experience in end-to-end social media management, from content creation to reporting, while contributing to a fast-paced global brand marketing team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Management

  • Support end-to-end Social Media scope - content ideation, planning, and engagement across global social media channels.
  • Ideate native, engaging content angles to grow organic followers and engagement (e.g., trend-jacking news, hot topics, and global moments).
  • Brainstorm and propose new social-led initiatives that enhance brand storytelling and community engagement.
  • Support KOLs and other brand collaborations activities.
  • Assist in scheduling, posting, and monitoring content on Instagram (IG), Facebook (FB), and other platforms.
  • Collaborate with creative and content teams to develop engaging posts, visuals, and campaigns.
  • Assist in maintaining content pipelines and support cross-functional requests related to social media content and campaigns.

2. Market Research & Competitor Analysis

  • Conduct market research to identify key trends and audience insights.
  • Monitor competitor activities to benchmark performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Share actionable insights to improve content strategy and engagement.

3. Account Management

  • Review existing social media accounts across regions to ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Support efforts to streamline or consolidate inactive accounts for better brand governance.
  • Contribute to activities aimed at driving organic reach and audience engagement.

4. Reporting & Community Management

  • Track, compile, and analyse social media performance reports.
  • Assist in monitoring and responding to comments, messages, and community interactions.
  • Support administrative tasks related to social media operations.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, and online community engagement.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and YouTube.
  • Good communication, organisational, timeline and project management skills.
  • Minimum commitment of 3 months, but candidates available for a longer internship period (i.e. 6 months) will be preferred.
  • Full-time applicants preferred, but part-time applicants (min. 2/3 work days a week) are also welcomed.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with social media management tools and basic design skills (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Premiere Pro).
  • Understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
  • Interest in AI tools and trends
  • Interest in FinTech / trading industry
  • Professional proficiency in Mandarin.
