Role Overview
We are looking for a creative, data-driven Social Media Manager with a strong focus on content creation, audience growth, engagement, and reach across Liquid Group's digital channels.
This role is responsible not only for content execution, but also for driving consistent, measurable growth of our social media presence in line with brand, business, and ecosystem objectives.
The ideal candidate understands how to grow social channels organically and through targeted paid amplification, using data, trends, and platform-native formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and publish engaging content across social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
- Develop short-form and long-form content including posts, captions, carousels, videos, reels, and stories
- Manage content calendars aligned to campaigns, partnerships, events, and product launches
- Own and drive social media growth metrics, including follower growth, reach, impressions, engagement rate, and content performance
- Identify growth opportunities through platform trends, posting cadence, content formats, and audience insights
- Optimise content based on performance data and platform algorithms
- Support and execute organic and paid growth strategies, including boosted posts and basic social ad campaigns
- Conduct regular content audits and recommend improvements to maximise reach and engagement
- Produce digital content such as blogs, newsletters, videos, and campaign assets
- Adapt core messaging into platform-specific formats for different audiences (B2B, partners, merchants, travellers)
- Translate complex fintech and payments topics into clear, engaging, and shareable content
- Maintain consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all channels
- Actively engage with the community through comments, messages, and mentions
- Support corporate storytelling, employer branding, and thought-leadership initiatives
- Track and analyse performance of social content and campaigns using analytics tools
- Produce regular performance reports highlighting growth trends, top-performing content, and optimisation insights
- Use data to inform content strategy and future growth initiatives
- Support co-branded campaigns with partners, wallets, merchants, and ecosystem stakeholders
- Coordinate closely with business development, PR, and product teams to align messaging
- Support digital amplification of joint announcements, launches, and ecosystem milestones
- Support live and post-event social coverage (posting, stories, highlights, recap content)
- Assist with digital campaigns tied to events, webinars, and industry forums
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in social media or digital marketing
- Proven experience managing and growing social media accounts
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and content trends
- Experience with digital marketing fundamentals (SEO basics, analytics, social ads)
- Excellent writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with tools such as Canva, CapCut, HubSpot, Google Analytics
- Familiarity with AI and content tools like ChatGPT, Gemini Pro, MidJourney, Runway, Lovable, or similar.
- Experience in fintech, payments or technology but not a must.
- Experience running social media ad campaigns
- Ability to translate analytics into growth-driven content decisions
