Job Description

About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and creative Social Media Manager who's not just a doer, but a thinker. Someone who understands the evolving social landscape and can turn trends into engaging, on-brand content that delivers results. You'll lead the end-to-end social media process, from strategy and content planning to client liaison, execution, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute monthly social media strategies tailored to each client's goals
  • Plan and maintain content calendars ahead of time
  • Monitor social media trends, competitor activity and emerging platform features to keep content fresh and relevant
  • Propose new ideas to increase engagement and brand visibility

Content Development & Execution

  • Write engaging and on-brand captions with strong call-to-actions
  • Brief and collaborate with designers and videographers to produce static posts, carousels, reels, and TikToks
  • Schedule and publish content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn etc.)

Community Management

  • Monitor comments, DMs, and tags to maintain active engagement with followers
  • Respond to queries and escalate issues where necessary
  • Grow community through organic interaction and timely engagement

Client Communication & Coordination

  • Liaise directly with clients to understand brand tone, campaign objectives, and feedback
  • Host monthly check-ins or performance review meetings with internal team and clients
  • Present ideas, monthly calendars, and reports clearly and confidently

Reporting & Optimisation

  • Compile monthly insights and performance reports across platforms
  • Analyse what's working and what's not, with actionable recommendations
  • Track KPIs such as reach, engagement rate, follower growth, CTR, and video views

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing
  • Strategic mindset with ability to think creatively and analytically
  • Familiarity with tools like Meta Business Suite
  • Good eye for aesthetics and storytelling across visuals and video
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Highly organised, self-driven, and responsive to deadlines

Bonus Points

  • Experience with paid ads management
  • Knowledge of SEO and SEM
