ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Executive to manage and grow Modern Wealth Academy's presence across our social media platforms.

You will help turn our educational content, events, student stories, company activities, and ideas into engaging content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

This is a hands-on, entry-level role suitable for a fresh polytechnic graduate who enjoys social media and wants to build a career in content creation and digital marketing.

Prior full-time working experience is not required. We are more interested in your creativity, attitude, portfolio, and willingness to learn.

You will work closely with our founder, trainers, marketing team, and other team members to strengthen our brand, grow our audience, increase engagement, and support the company's marketing objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media Management

• Manage Modern Wealth Academy's social media accounts across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.

• Develop and maintain a consistent social media content calendar.

• Schedule and publish content regularly across the different platforms.

• Adapt videos, captions, graphics, and content formats to suit each platform.

• Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and online conversations.

• Respond to general audience interactions professionally and direct enquiries to the appropriate team members.

• Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all content.

Content Creation

• Generate creative content ideas based on trends, audience interests, company activities, and marketing priorities.

• Plan, script, film, and edit short-form videos, including TikToks, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

• Create educational videos, interviews, testimonials, event highlights, promotional content, and behind-the-scenes content.

• Create social media graphics, carousels, stories, captions, and video thumbnails.

• Turn webinars, classes, podcasts, presentations, and longer videos into engaging short-form content.

• Attend workshops, classes, company events, and selected activities to capture photos and videos.

• Work with the founder, trainers, students, and team members to produce natural and engaging on-camera content.

• Identify opportunities to showcase student experiences, educational insights, company culture, and community stories.

Social Media Growth

• Stay updated on social media trends, platform changes, popular formats, and emerging content opportunities.

• Recommend and test new content ideas, video hooks, formats, and publishing approaches.

• Help grow the company's reach, followers, engagement, and online community.

• Monitor content performance using platform analytics.

• Track indicators such as views, reach, engagement, follower growth, watch time, website visits, enquiries, and conversions.

• Prepare simple performance reports and recommend ways to improve future content.

• Support programme launches, webinars, events, collaborations, and other marketing campaigns.

• Assist with organic and paid social media content when required.

Brand and Content Standards

• Ensure all published content is accurate, professional, and appropriate for a financial education brand.

• Check financial, investment, income, and student-result claims before publication.

• Avoid misleading promises, exaggerated earnings claims, or content that may be interpreted as personalised financial advice.

• Obtain approval before publishing sensitive information, student testimonials, or personal details.

• Represent Modern Wealth Academy professionally when communicating with our online audience.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

We warmly welcome fresh graduates from Singapore polytechnics and other recognised institutions to apply.

Prior full-time working experience is not required. School projects, internships, freelance work, personal social media accounts, and self-initiated projects will all be considered relevant experience.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• A polytechnic diploma or equivalent qualification. Studies in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media, Business, Design, or a related field would be helpful but are not compulsory.

• Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.

• A genuine interest in social media, content creation, digital marketing, and online communities.

• Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

• Basic video filming and editing skills using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

• Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.

• Good written and spoken English.

• An understanding of current social media trends and the types of content that engage online audiences.

• Creativity and the ability to turn a simple idea into engaging content.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

• A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a fast-moving team.

• Willingness to appear on camera occasionally would be an advantage but is not essential.

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

• Internship, freelance, part-time, or project experience in social media, marketing, or content creation.

• An interest in finance, investing, cryptocurrency, entrepreneurship, AI, or personal development.

• Experience with photography, livestreaming, podcasts, YouTube, or social media analytics.

• Experience managing a personal, school club, community, or small-business social media account.

• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, YouTube Studio, or Google Analytics.
