We're looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Executive to lead the online presence of
Life Medical TCM, a trusted traditional Chinese medicine brand. In this role, you'll plan, create,
and execute social media content that reflects our health philosophy - blending modern
wellness with traditional healing. You'll be hands-on with content creation, video shooting and
editing, and basic graphic design, ensuring that every post resonates with our audience across
Malaysia and Singapore. If you're passionate about storytelling, have a keen eye for detail, and

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, ensuring content aligns with Life Medical TCM's brand tone and objectives.
- Create short-form videos (shooting, editing, and optimizing) that showcase treatments, TCM doctors, wellness tips, and patient stories in an authentic and educational way.
- Design static posts and digital materials (e.g., social media visuals, banners, posters) that maintain brand consistency and appeal to both local and Chinese-speaking audiences.
- Work closely with the Social Media Lead and marketing team to brainstorm content ideas, campaigns, and promotions to strengthen brand awareness and engagement.
- Monitor trends on Chinese and English social platforms, adapting relevant ones to suit Life Medical TCM's audience.
- Write or adapt captions and short copy in English and Mandarin (and understand Cantonese) to ensure culturally accurate and meaningful communication.
- Support content shoots in clinics or on location - ensuring proper framing,composition, lighting, and sound for professional-quality output.
- Coordinate with doctors and clinic teams to capture authentic content moments and patient education sessions.
- Manage posting schedules and ensure timely delivery of all social media content.
- Track social media performance and propose improvements to increase engagement and reach.
- Able to travel for shoots and content activities within Malaysia and Singapore when required.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digitalmarketing.
- Strong camera operation skills including understanding of framing, composition, angles, and lighting to capture professional-quality visuals.
- Proficient in Mandarin (read & write) and able to understand Cantonese - essential for understanding TCM content and communication with doctors/patients.
- Skilled in short-form video production, including shooting and editing using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro.
- Basic design skills using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content best practices, especially for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Good eye for detail and storytelling, especially in health and wellness topics.
- Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Willing and able to travel within Malaysia and Singapore for shoots and coordination.
- Candidates with own transportation are preferred.
- Knowledge of TCM, healthcare or wellness industry is an added advantage.
- Experience in live setup and handling (e.g. livestream, lighting, or audio equipment) is an added advantage
