About the Role
We are looking for a confident and creative Social Media Executive to manage and grow our social media presence through engaging content and on-camera hosting.
You will be responsible for planning, producing, and publishing structured content across multiple platforms. This role combines creativity with discipline - ideal for someone who enjoys content creation but also values clarity, accountability, and measurable growth.
You will support both Techzu and our SME clients.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
Plan and manage structured content calendars
Schedule and publish posts across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
Monitor engagement and performance metrics
Ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment
Content Creation
Produce short-form and long-form video content
Write engaging captions, hooks, and scripts
Collaborate with designers and videographers
Ensure content is platform-optimized
Video Hosting
Confidently appear on camera as a video host
Present educational, product, or promotional content
Participate in occasional weekend shoots (off-in-lieu provided)
Campaign Collaboration
Work closely with the marketing team to meet campaign goals
Participate in brainstorming and creative planning
Execute tasks reliably and on schedule
Clear KPIs (So You Know What Success Looks Like)

Performance will be assessed based on:
Consistent delivery of weekly content outputs (e.g., X short-form videos per week)
On-time completion of assigned tasks
Improvement in engagement metrics (views, retention, interaction rate)
Adherence to brand guidelines

Contribution to campaign performance objectives
You will not be judged on viral luck, but on structured execution and improvement.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in social media management and content creation
Comfortable and confident appearing on camera
Strong copywriting skills
Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar)
Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, or equivalent)
Familiar with current social media trends
Organized and task-oriented
Strong communication skills
Bonus (Good to Have)
Experience working in a marketing or digital agency environment
Experience managing multiple brands
Experience running paid ads
Basic analytics understanding
