The Plattering Co is known for its beautiful grazing tables and creative catering buffet setup displays, sharing platters, bowls and bentos and unique catering setups.
We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to support multiple brands under our portfolio. This role will be responsible for executing content, design, and campaign initiatives across digital platforms, ensuring consistency in brand voice, visual identity, and performance-driven outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Management (35%)
- Plan, curate, and manage content calendars across platforms including Instagram,Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok for multiple brands.
- Create and publish engaging content (posts, stories, reels, short-form videos) aligned with brand positioning and campaign objectives.
- Monitor social trends, platform updates, and content opportunities to keep output relevant and timely.
- Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and enquiries in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with influencers and content creators for collaborations and campaign activations.
- Track, analyse, and report on key performance metrics (e.g. engagement rate, reach, impressions, growth), and provide actionable insights
- Conduct regular competitor monitoring and share key observations with the team.
2. Design Support (35%)
- Design visually appealing graphics, images, and videos for social media posts, website banners, digital flyers, email newsletters, and other marketing materials using design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
- Execute photoshoots and video shoots as needed to produce high-quality content for various platforms.
- Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains consistency across all channels.
3. Website & Email Marketing Support (15%)
- Update website content including banners, product visuals, and promotional messaging across multiple brand sites.
- Work within website platforms such as WordPress, Woocommerce, Weebly, and Shopify systems to ensure content is accurate and up-to-date.
- Ensure consistency and alignment with ongoing campaigns across all digital touchpoints.
- Assist in email marketing execution using platforms like Mailchimp.
- Draft subject lines, email copy, and CTA variations to support campaign performance.
4. Event On-Site Support (10%)
- Provide on-site content support (photography and videography) for events, activations,and catering setups when required.
5. Other Marketing Activities Support (5%)
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred. A Diploma in a related field with relevant experience will also be considered.
- 1-2 years of experience in social media marketing is preferred.
- Understanding of social media analytic tools, such as Meta Business Suit, FB Ad Manager and TikTok Business Suit.
- Strong communication and copy writing skills to craft engaging, brand-aligned content.
- Proficient in using platforms such as WordPress, Woocommerce, Weebly, Shopify and Mailchimp.
- Knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple social media accounts, campaigns, and projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with the marketing, creative, and sales teams.
- Ability to multi-task and work within a fast-paced environment.
