We are looking for a resourceful, organized and creative Social Media & Community Manager to joinour content unit at Gushcloud Singapore for a 12-month long project. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about digital media, content creation, and social media strategy. You will play a critical role in managing the social media pages and its activities as well as the community that it builds.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Strategy Development
- Planning & Execution: Working with the strategist to create and implement social media strategies that align with the brand's marketing goals.
- Content Calendar: Developing and maintaining a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting across social media platforms.
- Trend Monitoring: Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the brand remains relevant and competitive.
2. Content Creation & Curation
- Content Development: Crafting engaging and platform-appropriate content (text, images, videos, infographics, etc.) to resonate with the target audience.
- Visual and Written Content: Craft engaging static and video content in alignment with the brand goals and tone-of-voice..
- Repurposing Content: Reworking content for different platforms or updating older posts to keep them fresh and relevant
3. Community Engagement & Growth
- Audience Interaction: Responding to comments, messages, and mentions across social platforms to foster a positive and engaged community.
- Building Relationships: Engaging with users, influencers, and brand advocates to strengthen relationships and build brand loyalty.
- User-Generated Content: Encouraging and amplifying user-generated content, such as lived experiences, testimonials, and photos.
4. Brand Voice & Tone
- Voice Consistency: Ensuring that the brand's voice and tone remain consistent across all social media channels and interactions.
- Crisis Management: Addressing negative comments, complaints, or controversies tactfully, maintaining a professional and positive brand reputation.
5. Analytics & Reporting
- Performance Metrics: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) like engagement rates, reach, follower growth, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
- Insights: Analyzing data to assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns and content, and making data-driven decisions to improve future strategies.
- Reporting: Regularly reporting on social media performance to internal teams or clients, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
6. Collaboration with Other Teams
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborating with marketing and PR to ensure consistency in messaging and unified brand experience.
- Campaign Integration: Ensuring social media efforts are integrated with broader marketing campaigns, product launches, or events.
7. Reputation Management
- Brand Monitoring: Monitoring brand mentions across social media and online platforms, proactively addressing issues, and capitalizing on positive conversations.
- Sentiment Analysis: Evaluating public sentiment toward the brand and adjusting strategies to enhance or maintain a positive image.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in English with strong written skills.
- Education: A diploma or degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field.
