Role Description
As the 2nd largest international padel circuit in the world, we are evolving into a media-first, fan-driven sports platform. We're looking for a part-time (20-hour minimum) Social Media & Communications Manager to lead our content engine end-to-endfrom live event storytelling to digital community growthwith room to add hours through event projects and APAC tournament travel.
This is a hands-on role at the intersection of live sport, culture, and fandom, perfect for someone who thrives on fast-paced media production and wants to shape how padel is seen and experienced across the region.
What You'll Own:
- Social Media Growth: Run APPT's Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Publish live, relevant, platform-native content that travels beyond existing fans.
- Content & Storytelling: Craft sharp captions, recaps, and stories that shape players, matches, and moments into a consistent, credible APPT voice.
- On-site Media: Be on the ground (or coordinate closely) at Tier-1 events capturing clips, reactions, and behind-the-scenes energy in real time.
- Editing & Production: Turn raw footage into short-form Reels, Shorts, and TikToks fast. Prioritize emotion and authenticity over perfection.
- Community Management: Engage with fans, players, clubs, and partners. Build genuine connections that turn audiences into advocates.
Who You Are:
- Proven experience in sports, media, entertainment, or culture
- Comfortable working at live events and under time pressure
- Strong writing skills (English required; Spanish or additional languages a plus)
- Confident with short-form video tools (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, etc.)
- Strong understanding of modern social platforms and trends
- Calm under pressure, fast on the keyboard, decisive on content
- Passion for sport, culture, and storytelling (padel experience a bonus, not required)
