about the company

Our client is a renowned international consulting firm focused on maritime engineering. Their clientele includes government authorities, port authorities, industrial companies and private enterprises. They do both big-scale and small-scale projects worldwide.

Currently they are looking for a coastal Engineer to join the team due to increased demand of projects. The potential candidate will be involved in the design of infrastructure type of works (mostly Marine related). The company pays 13 months fixed annual salary with 21 days of annual leave. The company encourages the work/life balance culture.

about the job

• Design of Breakwaters, Groynes, Revetments and other hard coastal engineering solutions
• Design of beaches, beach stabilisation measures, reclamations and other coastal engineering solutions
• Marine engineering (ship-shore interface design, design of berthing and mooring equipment, determine environmental loads on port structures like breakwaters, jetties, quay walls and offshore foundations
• Coastal studies (design of beach stabilisation measures, dredging studies, wave/hydraulic and morphology studies, scour assessments)
• Execute different type of analysis ranging from Metocean Studies to Dynamic Mooring Analysis

skills & experience required

• Msc / Degree in Civil Engineering
• Structural engineering with marine coastal engineering experience
• Min 4 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Industry Codes and Standards
