about the job

As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the product development lifecycle, focusing on designing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for software, hardware, and data integration. This includes leading the creation of automated test scripts for various testing types (functional, regression, integration, performance). You'll also be instrumental in integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines, mentoring manual testers to promote an automation-first approach , and continuously improving the testing process with new strategies and tools

skills and experience required

• A tertiary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of proven experience in automation development.
• Must be proficient in the Python programming language.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and/or Appium (for iOS and Android platforms).
• Demonstrated experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines. Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Domain knowledge in FinTech, Trading, Blockchain technologies, capital markets technology, or financial payments technology is a strong advantage
