Responsibilities
The Media Management Executive - (MMS Metadata) supports the management of digital content assets in the collection, organisation, archival and delivery stages. He/She should be a team player who is able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be able to work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional groups.
The Key Responsibilities Include
- Maintain the media content according to the policies for data management system and master library of media files, including the type of formats needed for various platforms.
- Responsible for metadata enhancements, associated material tagging, research and restore enquiries and requests from internal users and purging of obsolete content.
- Maintain relevant naming conventions, metadata, and content rights information for digital content assets.
- Manage access and restoration of high-resolution versions of Mediacorp-owned archived content for users.
- Perform associated material/content acquisition, metadata tagging and digital storage of such content by collaborating with various internal departments and external production houses.
- Facilitate research and retrieval of previously catalogued digital content assets.
- Follow the archiving rules and processes to ensure maximisation of storage space and effective practices for data retrieval.
- Perform digital archiving, asset expiration and other aspects of digital asset lifecycle maintenance activities.
- Generate reports from the data management system for business analysis.
- Support the ongoing delivery of APSB programmes and tape-based archive content to National Archives of Singapore.
- To be cross trained to support MEX (Media Exchange) and MMS Programme Intake operations.
- Operate the MAM (Media Asset Management) system to manage the content and provide access to users.
- Carry out duties in an individual capacity and able to work independently.
- Be a meticulous planner and an effective communicator.
- Be proficient at workflow management and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of working experience. Fresh graduates may be considered if found suitable for the position.
- Experience in Media Management such as, Archive, Digitising or knowledge in handling multiple media formats will be an advantage.
- Must be technically inclined, computer literate and able to work and think well under pressure.
- Possess good verbal & written communication skills.
- Be willing to work irregular hours or perform shift duties when the need arises.
