We are seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer / Assistant Electrical Manager to join our team, primarily involved in A&A (Alterations and Additions) and hospital projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong engineering capabilities, site problem-solving skills, and a comprehensive understanding of building service codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical designs in compliance with relevant codes of practice for building services, ensuring quality and efficiency in all engineering solutions.
- Exhibit strong site-solving skills and provide effective site coordination to meet project requirements and customer expectations.
- Assist in managing engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring that all objectives are met within the specified time frame and budget.
- Apply in-depth knowledge and understanding of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards applicable to hospital and healthcare environments.
- Work closely with other engineering disciplines, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure project success and adherence to specifications.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on project status, and ensure satisfaction with project deliverables.
- Oversee the quality of electrical works on-site, conducting checks and inspections as necessary to maintain high standards.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in an M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) contracting environment, with a focus on A&A and hospital projects.
- Strong site-solving skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with customers and team members.
- Competence in engineering design and a solid understanding of codes of practice in building services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.
