In Group Technology, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable, secure, and rapid deployment of banking applications.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment utilizing Puppet and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks within Node.js applications and microservices.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance system scalability, resilience, and disaster recovery capabilities across hybrid cloud environments.
• Lead incident response efforts, conduct thorough root-cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures to minimize system downtime.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive telemetry, logging, and alerting systems to ensure deep observability of production environments.
  
  

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience working in a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or system engineering role within a high-availability environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with configuration management tools, specifically Puppet.
• Proficiency in software development and scripting, with practical experience in Node.js and shell scripting.
• Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and modern observability tools (such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack).
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix system administration, networking protocols, and security best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a systematic approach to troubleshooting complex distributed systems.
