Job Description

The SGH Office of Strategic Partnerships Development (OSPD) actively identifies, establish and develops strategic partnerships between innovation industry players and SGH to further our strategic objectives, which is to is To advance and transform care for individual and population health, through conducting world-class research and innovation and nurturing a community of future-ready healthcare research professionals. OSPD will collaborate with partners in the innovation eco-system to facilitate win-win strategic partnerships in a proactive, consistent and sustainable approach, and OSPD aims to :

1. Develop an overarching partnership strategic plan to enhance clinical care in SGH.

2. Engage stakeholders from Industry to:

  • Position SGH as the preferred partner-of-choice for medical innovation

  • Facilitate appropriate partnerships with various stakeholders.

  • Horizon-scan for innovation opportunities.

  • Oversee partnership governance and implement initiatives such as MOU policy, CRM database, etc

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders such as the research office, Future Health systems, to develop partnerships to enable innovation in SGH.

As part of OSPD, you will:

1. Support the Head, Strategic Partnerships to execute partnerships and collaborations.

2. Facilitate collaborations / partnerships and agreements negotiations between SGH and partners.

3. Coordinate with external, cluster and internal stakeholders to drive innovation projects / initiatives / activities.

4. Provide secretariat support for OSPD standing meetings (e.g. Industry partnership steering committees, internal alignment meetings, etc.) and other partnership strategy related meetings / engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related studies

  • Proficient in MS Office software, including MS Access

  • Meticulous, analytical and organised

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Able to relate well with all levels of staff
