Sitecore Architect

Role Overview

The SitecoreArchitect is responsible for designing and overseeing the technicalarchitecture of Sitecore XP/XM implementations. This role leads solutiondesign, establishes best practices, and ensures scalable, secure, andhigh-performance platform delivery. The Architect works closely withstakeholders, delivery teams, and clients to translate business requirementsinto robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

. Define and own the end-to-endtechnical architecture for Sitecore implementations, including XP, XM, XMCloud, and headless (JSS/Next.js) solutions

. Lead solution design sessions,producing architecture blueprints, integration diagrams, and technicalspecifications

. Establish developmentstandards, coding guidelines, and best practices for the Sitecore platform

. Evaluate and recommend hostingstrategies (Azure PaaS, Managed Cloud, containers) aligned with clientrequirements

. Design integration patterns forthird-party systems including CRM, CDP, DAM, marketing automation, and commerceplatforms

. Conduct technical riskassessments and define mitigation strategies

. Provide technical leadershipand mentorship to development teams

. Participate in pre-salesactivities including technical discovery, solution scoping, and effortestimation

. Ensure compliance withsecurity, performance, and accessibility standards

. Stay current with Sitecoreproduct roadmap, new features, and industry trends

Requirements

. Minimum 10 years of experiencein enterprise web development, with at least 5 years focused on Sitecore

. Deep expertise in SitecoreXP/XM architecture including content delivery, personalization, analytics, andmarketing automation

. Strong proficiency in .NETCore/C#, ASP.NET MVC, and RESTful API design

. Hands-on experience withSitecore headless architecture (JSS, Next.js, GraphQL)

. Proven experience with Azurecloud services (App Services, SQL, Redis, CDN, Application Insights)

. Experience with CI/CDpipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code

. Sitecore certificationsrequired (minimum: Sitecore 10 Certified Developer)

. Excellent communication skillswith ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

. Experience in enterprisesolution architecture and multi-site implementations

Preferred

. Sitecore XM Cloud or ComposableDXP experience

. Experience with Sitecore CDP,Personalize, Send, or OrderCloud

. Azure Solutions Architectcertification

. Experience with Kubernetes andcontainerized deployments
