Job Summary
Oversee daily construction site operations to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant project execution. Coordinate with teams to maintain quality standards and resolve site issues promptly.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily construction site operations to ensure timely and quality project delivery
- Verify that construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and building procedures
- Coordinate communication and workflow among contractors, subcontractors, workers, and project managers to optimize site productivity
- Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports on site activities for stakeholders
- Implement and enforce workplace safety practices in compliance with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve on-site issues promptly, ensuring continuous workflow
- Manage site layout planning to support efficient construction processes and regulatory adherence
Required competencies and certifications
- Understand and interpret construction drawings, site layouts, and building procedures to guide site activities
- Apply knowledge of workplace safety regulations and ensure compliance with MOM guidelines
- Demonstrate strong supervisory skills to manage site workers and subcontractors effectively
- Possess 1.5 to 2 years of relevant experience in construction or site supervision
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building, or related field
- Experience working on general building projects and in consultancy environments
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., safety courses) advantageous but not mandatory
