Site Supervisor

Job Description:

The Site Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of construction activities on site. This role requires a hands-on individual with strong leadership skills and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision and Coordination:

. Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.

. Supervise and direct subcontractors and workers, ensuring efficient workflow and quality workmanship.

. Monitor and control materials, equipment, and resources on site.

. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

Safety and Compliance:

. Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and company safety policies.

. Conduct daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings.

. Ensure all workers are equipped with and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

. Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Quality Control:

. Ensure all work is performed to the required quality standards and specifications.

. Inspect and approve completed work, identifying and rectifying any defects.

. Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and progress.

Communication and Reporting:

. Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and workers.

. Provide regular progress reports and updates to the project manager.

. Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, incident reports, and material tracking.

Problem Solving:

. Identify and resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly and effectively.

. Proactively address potential problems and implement preventative measures.

. Coordinate with relevant parties to find solutions and minimize delays.

Qualifications and Experience:

. Secondary school or Diploma or Certificate in Building Construction, Civil Engineering, or relevant experience.

. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.

. Familiarity with Singapore building codes and regulations.
