Colebuild Pte Ltd, a leading construction company in the East Region Singapore, is seeking an experienced Site Project Manager to join our dynamic Team in Singapore. As a Site Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing Manage day-to-day site activities, from demolition and piling to structural works and architectural finishing, working as supportive team leader & player and project delivery. This is a full-time position based in Singapore.
What you'll be doing
Site Operations
Manage day-to-day site activities, from demolition and piling to structural works and architectural finishing and MEP works. Coordinate the delivery of materials and involve in allocation of workforces on daily basic.
Organize and supervise sub-contractors to ensure seamless workflow and prevent clashes.
Serve as the primary point of contact On-Site for the Client (Homeowner), Architect, Professional Engineer (PE), Design Team and QS Team and subsequent follow ups.
Project Management
Develop detailed master schedules, ensuring critical paths and milestones are met.
Monitor the Master Program daily. Identify potential delays early and implement catch-up plans
Resolve site discrepancies immediately. Raise RFIs (Request for Information) to Design Teams/Engineers when drawings conflict with site conditions.
Track material usage to prevent wastage and assist the QS in verifying sub-contractor progress claims and identifying Variation Orders (VOs).
Arrange, Coordinate and Involve in Authorities Inspections and Testings during construction phases.
Compliance, Health & Safety
Ensure all works comply with Government Agencies (such as BCA, URA, PUB, SP etc.) regulations.
Enforce WSH regulations to prevent Stop Work Orders. Conduct Daily Toolbox meetings.
Manage the external site environment. Handle complaints regarding noise, dust, or parking from neighbors diplomatically to prevent authority intervention.
By using Project Management app to ensure all necessary RA/PTW/SWP are prepared in accordance with compliances. Conduct daily toolbox meetings before start work and submit daily progress reports after finishing of works.
Quality Controls
Conduct progressive inspections for all the services involved before calling for Authorities inspections.
Manage the Defects List internally before handing over to the client to ensure a high-quality finish.
Workforce Management
To manage and communicate well with in-house workforces & foremen.
To ensure work force allocations are well planned ahead of scheduled targets and milestones.
What we're looking for
Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Architecture or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Project Manager or Project Management field in the construction industry
Minimum 2 years of experience in landed housing (GCB, Semi-Detached, Terrace houses) Re-build / Major Re-Construction/ A&A/ Major Renovation projects.
Familiarity with Demolition, excavations, basement, structural works, and high-end architectural fit-outs including facade, exterior/interior & landscaping and across necessary MEP works.
Understanding of Singapore's Building regulations on landed housing including URA/BCA/NEA/PUB/SP etc.
Ability to interpret Construction Drawings including architectural, structural, and M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) drawings and spot discrepancies before they become on-site errors.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders. Prefer Bilingual (English & Chinese).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills
Software Proficiency : AutoCAD, Microsoft (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Project), Familiar with Google Workspace, Familiar with Project Management app
