Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily steel production operations, ensuring targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are consistently met
Optimize workflows, manpower planning, and machine utilization to improve overall efficiency
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across production processes
Act as the key point of contact between production and project/site teams
Coordinate production schedules in line with site requirements, installation timelines, and project milestones
Attend site meetings when required to align on technical specifications, delivery sequencing, and urgent changes
Proactively resolve on-site challenges related to steel fabrication, delivery, or installation
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of fabricated steel components
Monitor production progress against project schedules and adjust plans to meet deadlines
Manage subcontractors or external vendors where necessary
Ensure all steel products meet project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements
Collaborate with QA/QC teams to address any non-conformance issues promptly
Uphold workplace safety practices across both factory and site interactions
Lead, mentor, and motivate production teams to achieve operational goals
Foster strong cross-functional collaboration between engineering, procurement, and site teams
Build a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
Strong background in steel fabrication / structural steel production
Proven experience liaising with construction sites and project teams
Able to manage tight timelines and multiple stakeholders
Hands-on, problem-solver with strong leadership skills
