Key Responsibilities

Lead & Drive Production Excellence

• Oversee daily steel production operations, ensuring targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are consistently met

• Optimize workflows, manpower planning, and machine utilization to improve overall efficiency

• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across production processes

Liaise Closely with Construction Sites

• Act as the key point of contact between production and project/site teams

• Coordinate production schedules in line with site requirements, installation timelines, and project milestones

• Attend site meetings when required to align on technical specifications, delivery sequencing, and urgent changes

• Proactively resolve on-site challenges related to steel fabrication, delivery, or installation

Ensure Smooth Project Execution

• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of fabricated steel components

• Monitor production progress against project schedules and adjust plans to meet deadlines

• Manage subcontractors or external vendors where necessary

Maintain Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all steel products meet project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements

• Collaborate with QA/QC teams to address any non-conformance issues promptly

• Uphold workplace safety practices across both factory and site interactions

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead, mentor, and motivate production teams to achieve operational goals

• Foster strong cross-functional collaboration between engineering, procurement, and site teams

• Build a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement

Requirements

• Strong background in steel fabrication / structural steel production

• Proven experience liaising with construction sites and project teams

• Able to manage tight timelines and multiple stakeholders

• Hands-on, problem-solver with strong leadership skills
