Site Manager (Listed Construction)

Responsibilities

. Site Construction Management

. Manage and supervise daily construction activities to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.

. Plan and coordinate site operations, manpower, and equipment to meet project milestones.

. Monitor construction progress and ensure works are completed within the project schedule and budget.

. Coordination with Consultants & Stakeholders

. Liaise with architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

. Attend and lead site coordination meetings to resolve technical or construction issues.

. Coordinate with project management teams to address design changes, RFIs, and site constraints.

. Quality Control

. Ensure all works comply with project specifications and quality standards.

. Conduct regular inspections of structural, architectural, and finishing works.

. Ensure proper documentation of inspections, testing, and approvals.

. Safety & Regulatory Compliance

. Ensure site operations comply with safety regulations from the Ministry of Manpower and the Building and Construction Authority.

. Work closely with safety officers to enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.

. Ensure workers follow safety procedures and proper use of PPE.

. Subcontractor & Workforce Management

. Supervise subcontractors and ensure work is completed according to schedule and quality standards.

. Monitor workforce productivity and resolve site issues affecting progress.

. Ensure subcontractors comply with project requirements and safety standards.

Requirements

. Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Building.

. 7-12 years of construction experience, with at least several years in site supervision roles.

. Experience in design-and-build projects or large building developments.
