A Site Manager to oversees daily construction site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. To coordinate with subcontractors, manage resources, liaise with clients, and handle on-site troubleshooting to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Supervision: Managing daily on-site activities, including coordinating subcontractors, in house construction workers, and materials.
- Safety Compliance: Enforcing health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Budget & Schedule Monitoring: Tracking expenses, controlling costs, and adhering to project timelines to avoid delays.
- Quality Control: Ensuring all construction work meets design specifications, quality standards, and building regulations.
- Documentation & Reporting: Preparing progress reports, checking drawings, and maintaining records.
- Communication: Acting as the main point of contact for clients, architects, and engineers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in construction management or as a site supervisor. Minimum 10yrs experience in Singapore residential construction. Landed houses experience preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Strong hands-on experience required.
- Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Able to handle in house construction workers team.
- Certifications: Valid safety certifications. Minimum O-level qualifications.
Typical Working Conditions
- Working on-site in various weather conditions, often in a site office.
- 6 working days per week when running projects.
- 6-month probation period
