Site Manager (Civil and Structural Engineering)
Requirements:
- Recognised Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering.
- Able to register with CIDB (Malaysia) and BCA (Singapore)
- Fluent and good in writing English.
. Good inter-personal communications skills in dealing with individuals, contractors and stakeholders at all levels
- 5 years of site management experience in civil and structural trade.
- Must have working experience in construction projects and good in project management.
. Good knowledge of workplace safety, technical and engineering for construction project management.
- This is a six-days work per week.
Job Scope:
- Planning, coordinating and supervising construction projects and completing them in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers and other professionals to determine the specifications of the project.
- Preparing and submitting construction project budget estimates.
- Overseeing the selection and purchase of materials and equipment needed for projects.
- Ensuring compliance with building and WSH regulations, and communicating with regulators and inspectors throughout projects.
- Navigating and resolving any problems that might arise onsite, whether they relate to construction delays, safety concerns or cost overruns.
- Evaluating and managing risk, and periodically reporting the progress of projects to stakeholders and Project Director.
- Perform site planning, coordination and inspection relating to the construction project so as to ensure that project completion timeline, requirements and budget are met
- Assists Project Director/Senior Project Manager in achieving project completion within budget and on schedule
- Prepares, Issues and Evaluates Tender packages
- Coordinates with Architectural, Process, Mechanical, Electrical disciplines and Quantity surveyors
- Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management
