Plan, lead, and monitor project progress and performance against the project plan to ensure timely completion and quality standards are met
Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project, including manpower planning, construction progress monitoring, and cost control
Prepare and maintain the master project schedule, ensuring that all activities align with the project timeline and objectives
Take decisive actions to address delays, adverse weather conditions, or emergencies occurring at the construction site, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to resolve site issues and maintain project alignment
Attend internal coordination meetings with subcontractors/suppliers
Attend daily tool box meeting and pre-start meeting
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and enforce project standards, applying safe and economical methodologies throughout the construction process
Oversee the management of site staff and subcontractor performance, providing guidance and support to ensure project goals are met
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, identify safety hazards, and ensure adherence to project specifications
Facilitate regular meetings with project stakeholders to provide updates on progress, discuss challenges, and plan for upcoming activities
Review and approve project documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, and work plans submitted by subcontractors
Implement and manage quality control procedures to ensure that all work meets the required standards and specifications
Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources necessary for construction activities
Maintain accurate project records, including daily logs, reports, and correspondence related to site activities
. Approve workers time cards for monitoring of worker's attendance
. Develop and implement corrective actions for any identified project issues or inefficiencies to improve overall performance
Mentor and train site staff in best practices, safety protocols, and project requirements to enhance team performance and project outcomes
Manage the site budget and control costs to ensure that the project remains within financial constraints
Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and collaboration among all project stakeholders
Perform all duties in accordance with CCCC polices, processes, systems, reporting and procedures
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
At least 5 years experience in civil/infrastructure/piling/micropile projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, contracts, and regulations in Singapore.
Proven ability to lead site teams, manage subcontractors, and deliver projects successfully.
Proficient in MS Office and project management software.
Strong problem-solving skills, leadership, and communication abilities.
