Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, lead, and monitor project progress and performance against the project plan to ensure timely completion and quality standards are met
  • Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project, including manpower planning, construction progress monitoring, and cost control
  • Prepare and maintain the master project schedule, ensuring that all activities align with the project timeline and objectives
  • Take decisive actions to address delays, adverse weather conditions, or emergencies occurring at the construction site, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
  • Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to resolve site issues and maintain project alignment
  • Attend internal coordination meetings with subcontractors/suppliers
  • Attend daily tool box meeting and pre-start meeting
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and enforce project standards, applying safe and economical methodologies throughout the construction process
  • Oversee the management of site staff and subcontractor performance, providing guidance and support to ensure project goals are met
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, identify safety hazards, and ensure adherence to project specifications
  • Facilitate regular meetings with project stakeholders to provide updates on progress, discuss challenges, and plan for upcoming activities
  • Review and approve project documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, and work plans submitted by subcontractors
  • Implement and manage quality control procedures to ensure that all work meets the required standards and specifications
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources necessary for construction activities
  • Maintain accurate project records, including daily logs, reports, and correspondence related to site activities

  • . Develop and implement corrective actions for any identified project issues or inefficiencies to improve overall performance
  • Mentor and train site staff in best practices, safety protocols, and project requirements to enhance team performance and project outcomes
  • Manage the site budget and control costs to ensure that the project remains within financial constraints
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and collaboration among all project stakeholders
  • Perform all duties in accordance with CCCC polices, processes, systems, reporting and procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • At least 5 years experience in civil/infrastructure/piling/micropile projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, contracts, and regulations in Singapore.
  • Proven ability to lead site teams, manage subcontractors, and deliver projects successfully.
  • Proficient in MS Office and project management software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, leadership, and communication abilities.
  • Multiple locations.
