Job Description:
Project Planning & Execution
- Develop and manage construction schedules to ensure timely completion of project milestones
- Plan and allocate resources including manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, technical specifications, and authority regulations (including LTA standards)
Site Coordination & Management
- Lead and supervise site construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, and relevant stakeholders
- Identify and resolve site issues such as technical challenges, design conflicts, and delays
Safety & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and site safety requirements
- Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures
- Enforce safe work procedures and oversee incident reporting and investigations
Quality Control & Assurance
- Monitor construction activities to ensure quality standards and specifications are met
- Conduct inspections and coordinate testing requirements
- Manage non-conformance issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
Budget & Cost Management
- Monitor project costs and ensure works are carried out within budget
- Review and approve subcontractor claims and supplier payments
- Implement cost control measures and improve resource efficiency
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to management and clients
- Attend site meetings and coordinate with authorities and stakeholders
- Address public feedback and minimize impact to surrounding environment and community
Environmental & Traffic Management
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project requirements
- Implement environmental protection and sustainability measures
- Coordinate traffic control plans to maintain safe movement around the work site
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Relevant experience in infrastructure or civil engineering projects
- Experience in LTA projects preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of local construction regulations and safety standards
