Our client is a respected Building & Civils contractor in Singapore, who often gets awarded projects off the back of their fine reputation for delivering on previous projects. They have a healthy pipeline of projects with tenders in place for more.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining project schedules and budgets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Experience working on Building Projects from Residential (Condo/HDB/Landed Housing), Commercial (Office/Mixed-Use Developments), Retail (Shopping Mall), Industrial (Lab, Factory, Warehouse) or Hospital projects.
- Coordination: Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Safety Compliance: Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, manage expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality inspections to ensure that construction meets specified standards and regulations.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or emergencies that arise on-site.
- Reporting: Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- PMP, LEED, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Site management within the Building Project sectors in Singapore.
- Experience in Industrial Projects: Data Centres, Pharma, Logistics, Aviation, Semi-conductor, Clean rooms, Aerospace projects.
- Experience in Commercial Projects: Residential, Office, Shopping Centre, Greenfield Buildings.
- Strong understanding of construction management principles and construction methodologies.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) certification are preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to drive the site progress forward, calmness under pressure.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
