Job Summary

Manage and supervise daily site operations for interior renovation and design & build projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and project schedules while coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily site operations to execute works according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers to ensure timely and quality delivery of tasks
  • Enforce compliance with workplace safety, health, and environmental regulations on site
  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve site issues or delays to maintain schedule adherence
  • Conduct site meetings and communicate progress updates to Project Manager and management teams
  • Implement quality control measures for workmanship and materials to meet project standards
  • Plan and deploy site activities and manpower efficiently to optimize resource utilization
  • Verify and endorse site measurements, materials delivery, and work completion for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation to support project tracking and audits
  • Liaise effectively with consultants, clients, and authorities to address site-related matters and approvals
  • Uphold good housekeeping and site discipline to ensure a safe and organized work environment

Required competencies and certifications

  • Possession of relevant safety certification (where applicable)

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or Certificate in Interior Design, Building, Construction Management, or related field
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience managing interior renovation or design & build projects
  • Familiarity with interior works processes, materials, and finishing details
  • Basic knowledge of M&E coordination including electrical, plumbing, and air-conditioning systems
  • Ability to read and interpret interior design and shop drawings accurately
  • Proficiency in site documentation and reporting to support project management
  • Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple projects independently
  • Familiarity with site safety requirements specific to renovation works
