Site Engineer

Role Overview - Site Engineer (RC Structure)

We are seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Site Engineer specializing in Reinforced Concrete (RC) structures. You will be responsible for overseeing on-site technical operations, ensuring that all works comply with the stringent standards of Singapore's statutory boards (LTA, NEA, CAG). The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can bridge the gap between design drawings and physical execution while maintaining an uncompromising stance on safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution & Supervision:

  • Supervise all RC structural works, including piling, formwork, reinforcement, and concreting.

  • Ensure all site activities align with approved drawings, Method Statements, and Project Quality Plans.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and manpower.

• Compliance & Technical Standards:

  • Manage submissions and clearances for LTA, NEA, and CAG projects, ensuring adherence to their specific Codes of Practice.

  • Liaise with Resident Engineers (RE) and Resident Technical Officers (RTO) for site inspections and approvals.

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with Environmental Management & Protection Plan (EMPP) as per NEA guidelines.

• Progress Tracking & Reporting:

  • Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain accurate site diaries.

  • Identify potential site issues or technical discrepancies early and propose effective solutions to the Project Manager.

• Safety & Quality Control:

  • Implement and enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations on-site.

  • Conduct regular quality checks to minimize rework and ensure structural integrity.
